[q] Walks Diary

You are welcome to try out a couple of walks before deciding to become a member of the group, this involves joining the Ramblers Association. See the about us page for information about joining the group or phone 0207 339 8500.

It is recommended that you check the message board before setting off for a walk to check for any last minute cancellation. In addition bear in mind that all our walks are led by volunteers, so please appreciate the Leader has given up a lot of their time to plan and lead the walk.

If you think you'd like to lead a weekend walk but don't feel confident about doing it all yourself then speak to the Walks Sec, Neil Chester, if you see him around, or email Walks Secretary to sign-up for the Buddy Scheme.

Check out the bottom of the page for the grading & smile-icons.

Are there no walks which you want to do this weekend? Why not try the West Riding Ramblers' Walks Diary for something different? Alternatively, the Otley Walking Festival is running from 28 June to 6 July, with over 44 events. The organisers, Ruth & Stuart, would love Take a Hike members to come along - have a look at their full programme at Otley Walking Festival.
