new Huddersfield pub meet
Not content with Leeds city centre, Harrogate, Ilkley and Pudsey pub meets, the fair denizens of Huddersfield are holding their first pub meet at the 'Head of Steam' (in the 'Ticket Office' - the mind boggles) on Thursday 11th September.
Apparently if there's a good enough turnout, they'll put some free food on for the second one, so what are you waiting for? Huddersfield dwellers, turn up and drink beer*.

If you've stumbled across our website and are wondering how to take the first step... turn up to a walk! You can find out all sorts of information on the 'about us' page or in the 'joining' thread on the message board, but the easiest way to start is by picking a walk you feel confident doing, and just turning up.
If you've never come out with us before, there's no fees, no hassles, no pre-booking, no exclusive 'members only' sections - just turn up to a walk!
Of course, if you decide that you like us after a couple of walks, we'd expect you to join the Ramblers. But you'll be paying £27 a year tops, and this will all go towards helping to keep the countryside open for everyone to walk in, as well as giving you the option to walk with any other Ramblers group that takes your fancy.
We really are that easy.
