2007 Committee Elected, new walks and socials database
Thanks to everyone who attended a productive (and a little lively) AGM on Saturday. Democracy has been practiced and we now have a new committee! They are, left to right in the picture, Jane Sharp (Social Secretary), Neil Chester (Walks Secretary), Simon Bowen (Webmaster), Emma Ruane (Membership Secretary) and Ann Page (General Secretary). And a huge thanks to the members of last year’s committee that stood down for their contributions – cheers Richard, Tim, Mark, Adrian, Dan and Chris!
And Christmas has come a little early for everyone in the form of the fruits of my labour - new database-driven walks and socials diary pages. Not only does this mean every walk and social has its own page, the database is a searchable archive of all current and previous walks (from today). So we'll be able to re-live our past exploits or get ideas for new ones!
