Seasons Greetings!
Well the dust has settled after the Christmas Ceilidh and the committee are all going off to deck our various halls and fill our miscellaneous stockings. So on behalf of everyone have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
And remember, if you get fed up of turkey sandwiches and bad TV (or the relatives!) you can always grab your boots and join Karen, Dan, Mark and Charlotte for a walk over the holiday period. Check out the walks diary for details.
New Committee Elected
Thanks to everyone who turned up and contributed to the AGM, and for everyone who couldn't make it, here's a picture of your newly-elected executive committee: from left to right, top - Adrian Cunliffe (Training Secretary), Mark Killala (Walks Admin), Ann Page (Social Secretary); middle - Dan Atkinson (Campaigns Secretary), Simon Bowen (Webmaster), Emma Ruane (Membership Secretary); bottom - Chris Longstaff (Walks Secretary) and Richard Coppell (Walks Admin). Tim Williamson also remains as Treasurer but had to miss the photo call (or miss a train). Also a huge thanks to the outgoing committee members for all their hard work: Mark Auger, Rebecca Chesmore and Dave Pannell. Some more changes to the site to come over the next week, plus the full minutes from the AGM will be available for download soon.
