Have your say at the Take a Hike AGM
The Take a Hike Annual General Meeting will be held on Saturday 3rd December at 3:30pm, in Bridget's Bar in the Victoria Hotel, Great George Street, Leeds, just round the corner from Millennium Square and a 10 minute walk from Leeds station.
All members are encouraged to attend, to discuss the future of the group and to elect new committee representatives for the coming year. Dave Pannell, Rebecca Chesmore and Dan Atkinson are confirmed as standing down from their positions as Chairperson, Membership Secretary and Social Secretary, and the Mark Auger/Richard Coppell Walks Secretary team is standing down, with Richard likely to seek re-election with another collaborator. All committee positions, however, are open to election.
If you are interested in directly influencing the way the club is run then why not stand for a position yourself, please feel free to contact the relevant current committee member to find out a bit more about any role that might interest you.
