shock resignation from exec!
After giving the matter a fair bit of thought, Dan’s decided to resign as Campaigns Secretary for Take a Hike. The role needs someone who can raise the profile of Ramblers campaigns in the Group, and right now Dan feels he’s got too many other things going on to inject the vigour in to the position he feels is necessary to make it successful.
That’s Dan out the equation. So who wants the job? The role is all about getting more people from Take a Hike actively involved in countryside issues – making them aware of countryside campaigns, organising environmentally focussed activities and knocking out the odd article for the Ramblers.
